Hi folks,
I already set up a Remote access VPN on my ASA 5580 and can connect to ASA from a Windows PC without any problem...nice and easy. The problem is that when I try to connect to ASA with my Linux Mint PC I can't. I'm running Linux Mint 18.1 and using Openconnect Client and selecting PPTP when I create VPN connection, later Gateway, User and Password, same as in Windows...but can't connect. After sometime trying to connect Linux says that "Then VPN connection 'Conexión VPN 1 ' disconnected because the VPN service stopped." Can anybody help me please????
I came here looking for a solution since I understand my problem is an OS related problem...anyway, did you test it in Centos??? what was the result???
I'm going to test AnyConnect client to see what happens.
You can use dmesg to find out more information.
1)Dump dmesg before making PPTP connection, finding out what is at dmesg tail.
2)Start PPTP connection and then dump dmesg again, find out what is added into dmesg tail. These new information could give you some hint.
