Yes...we'll suggest not bumping your own threads after less than 24 hours. Not only is it a bit rude, it also removes your post from the zero-reply list, which makes it LESS VISIBLE (that is, fewer people will see it/respond).

And haven't we been down this road before? Several folks have tried to assist you with such things:
https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...ut-tls-931229/
https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...isites-934660/
https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...ke-vpn-931230/

...but you don't often post follow-ups or answer questions. Putting your question into Google pulls up lots:
https://linuxexplore.wordpress.com/h...-using-xl2tpd/

From the sample config provided:
Code:

;; This is a minimal sample xl2tpd configuration file for L2TP without IPsec
Easily found, if you looked. Again, though, you will be facing the SAME PROBLEMS you have with your other VPN questions. Unless you sort them out/answer them, you'll be in a bad spot. Again, without decent encryption, you're essentially opening your network up to anyone.

Yet all related to VPN, and trying to figure out how to make things work on a different port. Changing your VPN type DOES NOT solve your problem. Again, as with your other threads, CALL YOUR ISP. You have never said if you have or not, or what their response was, but working with VPN is a common issue. Also again, I will point out that you can make your VPN software listen on another port.

Putting a question into Google is always a good first step.
