VPN Help Please

Hello to everyone,

I am currently seeking some help with an open source vpn solution for my home LAN.

My setup is as follows:
Fedora Core 1 running kernel 2.4.22-1.2188.nptl
Behind Router using NAT

Are there any recommendations to which vpn solution is the best and why?

I have looked at and tried freeswan but there is currently no rpm for my kernel, 2.4.22-1.2188.nptl. I have also looked at tinc but without much success.

I am looking for a really good howto on any open source vpn solution and if any one could help me out at all I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks to everyone in advance, take care,

Chris.
