vpn configuration

I just installed a vpn appliance at my work and got everything up and running in windows. Unfortunately, I needed to go that route to satisfy any needed technical support on the hardware end. Anyway, the good thing is I know what configuration will work. The bad thing is I can not get it configured right. I have been using kvpnc and it is pretty close to getting it going, however I am getting some syntax errors while loading the ipsec.conf file. What I would like to do is either get some sample config files or find a detailed listing of the ipsec.conf file. I tried going to vpnc.org but did not find anything that I needed. The exact error I am receiving is "error: [ipsec err] can not load config '/etc/ipsec.conf': /etc/ipsec.conf:24: syntax error, unexpected STRING [3des-sha-modp2048]". Line 24 shows "3des-sha-modp2048" with nothing else. With a detailed explanation of the ipsec.conf file I could find the syntax error.

It doesn't know what 3des-sha-modp2048 is. You need another keyword there.

Have you checked the man page for ipsec.conf???

http://linux.die.net/man/5/ipsec.conf

Also, Google comes up with lots....including a thread on here.
