VNC Sessions

I've been trying to do this but I can't figure it out. I would like vncserver to only handle one session. Kinda like MS Remote Desktop Connection I guess. Here is an example. Say I'm sitting at my computer and I have Open Office and aMSN opened. I leave and log in through VNC, a whole new GNome session is started in the background. When I get back to my computer its still the old session I had at first. How would I configure VNC so that when I log on to the server I would still see Open Office and aMSN.

Thanks

Take a look at this documentation:

I tryied the option where you add the modual to the xorg.conf file but when I restart X, it gives me a fatal error. When I look at the log file it seems to load the modual correctly and read the password file but then at the end it says. "FatalServerError - IExtensionInit:AddExtension Failed."
