VNC running in command mode


Hi,

Is there a way to run vncserver on a RED HAT 8.0 machine and access from a windows machine (vncviewer) and see the GNOME /KDE desktop?

of course, just install the server on linux and conenct to it with a windows client... or am i missing something??

Hi Chris,

I did it, but I am getting only command level (black screen) screens. I am not getting any GUI from the linux.

Please help.
