VMware WinXP and Redhat

Hi all
I am sure somebody must have ask this question before, I tried to search but after half an hour I am giving up and decided to ask this question.

I have Installed VMware on Winxp machine and installed my so called Test Webserver (redhat 7.3).
What actually I will be using it for is to test my web application and website before actually using it in production environment.

My questions are
How should I go about it, is there any good how-to for this type of installations?
I would like to surf the net from my Redhat (virtual). Is it possible?
Do I install virtual Redhat with host-only or nat adapters?

My PC configuration is
WinXp, VMWare3.1, SDRAM 516,
Internet comnnection ADSL Ethernet PPOE
Installed Zonealarm pro for firewall.

Hope somebody can Answer my questions?
Thank you in advance.

cheers!!!
Indee

An installation of a guest operating system in VMWare is exactly the same as a normal installation of an OS. You should read the documentation available on RedHat's website (installation manual).

Yes, it is possible. Select NAT for networking and read the documentation on VMWare's website on how to set up the guest operating system to use the network through NAT.
