vlan through VPN link (IPSEC)

Hi,

Is there any possibility to transport one or two VLANs through a VPN (IPSEC) link on Linux?.

Any link you can provide to read?

thanks in advanced.

Think about it: how do either of the endpoints on any connection know whether or not they happen to be on a VLAN or not? Any why should they care?

Thansks for your response, I've been reading and can the interface which containg a vlan, let's say eth0 (vlan1 eth0.1, etc) be bridged with the interface created be the IPSEC software?, so that way any information comming from the tunnel (which comes as vlanID) can be transfered to the real vlan handler on eth0. Is it possible that scenario?

thanks again.
