vfat sambar write permission problem

[tmp]
comment = Temporary file space
path = /tmp
read only = no
public = yes

[public]
comment = Public Stuff
path = /mnt/data/
read only = no
public = yes

Look at the stuff above. I try to access samba server with my own machine so from localhost with Konqueror. Ok..... /mnt/data is a vfat partition that I have mount before with write permission. But when I access my own machine through samba, I can only write into /tmp that in my Linux native partiton. I cann't write into public directory ( vfat partition ).

Any idea????
