Thumbs down very slow transfer rate

Hi there

i have a network with 5 dell poweredge servers ( ALPHA, BETA, OMEGA, CANDY & POLLO ) & i'm using utp & optical fiber to connect it.
there is a dell storage server ( MD ) attached to OMEGA through three mount points nemed (hot cold & ice ) witch i use it to store big tar files ...
the problem is just between POLLO & one of the mount points in OMEGA :
when i copy files using "SCP" from POLLO to a certain mount point ( ice directory ) the transfer rate is not more than 260 kb but with hot & cold it's 11mb & from any other server to all of the three directories (ice & hot & cold) is also 11mb

in few words
coping or moving files from a certain server to a certain mount point on another server is very slow & the rest of the network is workinging just fine ...

I really need your help cause all my work stoped now .

Or we guess you're just nasty and rude, and expect people to answer a question, when you don't bother to provide useful details. And what exactly do you expect the moderators to DO? Tell people to hurry up and answer you???

WHERE are the mount points? Local disk? SAN? NFS? What file systems? Memory on the servers? Type of NIC's? ANYTHING???? If you're using RHEL, call RedHat for support...they can run diagnostics with you, and get things working. Once you do that, you can apply that solution to your CentOS servers.
