Verizon DSL and Linux? Compatible?

I'm planing to get DSL from Verizon.. so my linux will actually connect to the internet :S anyways... yeah i have a Mandrake 9.1

I'm planing on getting Verizon DSL service.. it doesn't say if it's compatible to Linux systems help?

If u need more information please do ask

PS. I have a 10/100 ethernet card so don't worry about that

I have dsl with suse 8.2. I plug my machine in to the dsl modem and it just works. To be certain, call or e-mail support there. Even when ISP's don't 'support' linux (mine doesn't) the techs are often helpful.

hmm they want me to call them :S no email tech support

but i have WinXP installed so i guess i could use that for internet access ... *sighs* i wanted to host my own server

My ISP is 4 states away but they have an 800 number. Check.
