Unhappy uw-imap new user

hi

I've added new user to the system running mailserver uw-imap in our LAN and the user can't login from mail client. I have already working accounts on this system but I didn't add users for ages and can't seem to recall if there was something more than just updating /etc/cram-md5.pwd to add new user to uw-imap server.

I can login via ssh as new user just fine.

I'm using suse8.2 and imaps from uw-imap with MD5 CRAM passwords.
