using socks proxy with torrent client
 
How can I use a torrent client in a network where bittorrent or any thing like this is blocked.
I am aware of a combination of socks proxy with torrent client but not exactly sure if this is the thing I need.So can any one point me to the correct thing.

Please do not solicite help in violating a Terms-of-Service agreement. Network Administrators make rules for a reason.

Violating your employer's or school's rules concerning bit torrent traffic could be harmful to them or LQ. Please read the LQ Rules I am closing this thread.
