Question Using socat

Code:
root@vm01:~# nc -vz www.google.com 80
Connection to www.google.com 80 port [tcp/http] succeeded!
root@vm01:~#
What is the equivalent command using socat?

Thanks.

Hi,

How about this:

Code:
socat -d -d /dev/null TCP4:www.google.com:80
