Question using .ovpn file on Gadmin-OpenVPN-Client

When using Gadmin-OpenVPN-Client, there is an import option whereas the dialogue would say "Select a connection setup package to import:"

I have an .ovpn file for VPN connection setup and keys, but it seems the "connection setup package" has to be a .tar.gz file in order for this import to work. I don't see anywhere else in the GUI to open or import .ovpn files.

What do I do to convert the .ovpn into a .tar.gz package that can be read by this?

I have absolutely no experience in this area (VPN) but thought I might take a crack at it anyway. Do you mean by "converting" the file, packaging the .ovpn in a tar.gz file? I found this page if it helps, although I'm sure there are many others out there like it.

BTW, your "Message from webpage" was pretty cute.

openvpn, vpn
