Hello everyone.I am using Mandrake 8.0.I go through a windows 2000 machine for the internet.The windows 2000 machine uses internet connection sharing and I use dhcp on bootup.I have got the computers networked.My only problem is that everytime I try to file share the Windows 2000 machine connects to the internet.I dont want to connect to the internet just to file share.I was wonder if anyone knew how I could stop linux from connecting to the internet everytime i want to get files from anohter computer on our small home lan.
