User authentication through radius

Hi,

I have looked on the Internet but i did not find any documentation

I have a FTP server with radius authentication (other location at my University). Now we want two other servers authenticate with radius through the FTP server.

Example:

User logs in on Server A or Server B. The user credentials must be sent to the FTP server, whick checks with the radius server.

Is this possible? The FTP Server and server A and B are RedHat AS/ES 4.0

you mean logging in as in a normal xdmcp / shell login? Shouldn't be a problem really. You just need to enable radius authentiation within pam.

pam can be a bit confusing in my experience but this might help you: http://www.freeradius.org/pam_radius_auth/
