Usb cable modem

I have installed slackware9.1 and it detected my usb cable modem but for somereason it fails to load the modules here are the spects

hub.c: new USB device 00:01.3-1, assigned address 2
usb.c: USB device 2 (vend/prod 0x6cc/0x101) is not claimed by any active driver.
uhci.c: USB Universal Host Controller Interface driver v1.1

nm i got it working by running /sbin/dhcpd eth2 now i just need to get that error out at boot time
