Urgent : How to find whether the Network Interface is DHCP enabled or not ?
Hi,
When i run ifconfig on Fedora and Debian it shows "BROADCASTING" Does it mean that the Interface eth0 is DHCP enabled. Because i need to find the same in Solaris 10 In Solaris 10 as I run ifconfig it shows "Broadcasting" and "DHCP" in the same line for eth0. So , shall i conclude that whenever ifconfig shows BROADCASTING it means that interface is DHCP enabled. Thanks, Abha. |
are you trying to find that out for a server or for a linux client?

Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.
