Upload problems using FTP and Samba
 

Hi there! I was wondering if anyone had any problems transferring large files using samba and ftp on a network (500K and above)? I have just setup and configured my RH7.2 server in our network.

When I did an FTP upload to my server, the initial connection speed was quite fast but after a few seconds the speed would drop (from 8192 bytes/s to 50 bytes/s). I tried to transfer the same file using the samba connection and it gave me an error message ('Cannot copy file: The session was cancelled') however when I check the file has been transferred successfully.

Help!
