upgrade kernel

I hv install the binary kernel but can't boot to it , it seems caused by it have a binary-only device driver, therefore when the kernel is relinked the device will not exist.

could advise what can I do now ? do I need to download the driver ? excetp this method , is there other method , eg , compile src kernel ? thx in advance.

should I install the src.rpm ? thx
