unstable HTTP/SSH server with Linksys router
Hello!
I've set up a Linksys router with port forwards SSH, HTTP and FTP to my server. I have a Dyndns account at hamishnet.homelinux.com. The router is the Linksys WAG54G The ftp server ftp://hamishnet.homelinux.com/ works fine, AFAIK. The HTTP and SSH sometimes work and sometimes don't! I have no way of knowing why they are so unstable. I have ensure that "Block Anonymous Internet Requests " is not turned on. also, I have set my sever (10.0.0.2) as the DMZ. I have updated to the latest firmware 1.02.1. Has anyone had a similar problem? When I SSH in from outwith the network (SSH into a friends machine and the SSH back to mine), I get "ssh: connect to address 81.152.70.36 port 22: Connection refused" . I have ensure that this service isn't being blocked (I hope). Does anyone have any ideas? Hamish |
