I have been banging my head about this for the last couple of days. I have a new system that is going to be acting as a router/firewall. I have two Nics installed, one works perfectly. The one that is giving me grief is the 3Com gigabit nic that is onboard, on the Asus P4P800 motherboard. It is supported by Linux, and I have compiled and configured the driver. Everything appears fine, I can browse the internet, ping, etc, from this machine. The problem seems to concern incoming connections. I installed webmin on the machine and when trying to connect from another machine, the connection appears to "hang". Also if I set it up as my router, connections can get out through, but any incomming go no where and are apparently blocked. Right now I have no firewall enabled so that wouldn't be the problem. If anyone has any suggestions or can point me in the right direction it would be very much appreciated.
