unknown devices and cant access internet after apt-get update
Hi.
Suddenly i cant access internet after i sudo apt-get update and reboot system.Mine is acer travelmate 2480, Ubuntu dapper 6.06, ethernet controller: marvell technology, atheros communication. kernel 2.6.15-26-386 Can somebody please helppp me, I've been googling and searching for 2 days :eek: with the hope that I don't have to post a new thread but.:cry: . 1. Did you use automatix or easyubuntu to install anything?
2. Did you install any binary drivers? Anything from source? 3. sudo apt-get update doesn't alter anything ... so, presumably you did an upgrade as well. It sounds like stuff you did to get things going has been overwritten by the upgrade. |
