Unique PPPoE Connection/Problem SUSE 9.0
Here is the connection details:
I host a wireless tower for an isp. Part of that deal is free internet access, plugged right into the tower router.
Recently I asked them for a bandwidth upgrade and 5 static ips on a second cable I have running to their tower...
I recieved a PPPoE login with a bank of 6 ips (im not to happy atm as I need this for DNS / Server side.)
Here is the biggy: There is no DSL modem in this connection. Im wired directly from my machine to the tower router, which is transmitted directly to my isp. Im using SUSE version 9.0, which seems to only allow PPPoE logon through the DSL setup option, which throws a wrench in my operations. I've tried a variety of options, including advanced routing, etc all to no avail.
A: How can I get a valid connection (not DSL w/ PPPoE logon)
B: Can I use more then one of my "bank" of ips at a time through their PPPoE system (this is why I requested 5 statics in the first place)
