ubuntu picks up wireless network but will not connect...
 
I installed ubuntu on my desktop and laptop today, the computer is picking up my network but when I go to connect to it it just sits there and trys to connect and nothing happens...I don't know what to do or where to go.

any ideas will be GREATLY appreciated!

i'm new to linux in general just FYI so don't shoot me if this is a easy fix :P

I had this problem too. I switched to WICD and have no problems with my wireless connections now. See wicd.sourceforge.net for all the specifics.
