Ubuntu Edimax Ew-7128G Won't Connect to Wireless Network

Well, I think I may have a bad card. I installed Windows XP with the drivers that came with the card & it did not work. I tried with & with out encryption on the network. Just like in Linux, it could see the networks, but could not connect. I have e-mailed the company to ask for help. Thanks for everyones help.

The only time I saw that, some dweeb had set the modem/router up with all the MAC addresses of the local boxes, and set it only to allow these on. Then a new (Very unpopular) resident came along, tried to hook up his pc, which wasn't on the list, and they just didn't tell him :-/.
