[SOLVED] Ubuntu 16.04 LTS Fresh Install Wifi Works Fine But Ethernet Will Not Connect

Ok so I did a fresh install of Ubuntu 16.04 LTS and it wont connect to ethernet. I used a little usb wifi card thing and I can connect to the wifi just fine. The Ethernet cable is not broken I tested it on a different computer. Basically I just need to know what command I need to type in Terminal to fix this. I think it has something to do with realtek drivers if that helps. Thanks for any responses. Also sorry I have made like 6 threads. EDIT: My Issue Has Changed Please IGNORE This Thread

Can you give the output of ifconfig on console?

If you haven't done so already, install the realtek driver with:

sudo apt-get install r8168-dkms

You may need to do some additional stuff after you get the driver installed per this post on the ubuntu forum:
