Two nics on the same network, how?
Hello friends,

A long time that I'm tring to use two nics on the same network, for example, eth0 netmask and eth1 netmask but always one of them stop.
How may I solve this, friends?

yes this is a problem in linux you can't give the ip's of same network to two lan cards you have to change the network like to one card give ip like smask
and to other card give ip smask

it is known as arp-flux
you can read more about it here:

if you are wanting to use both NICs on the same network i suggest to use bonding. if you need multiple IPs then use virtual interfaces (eth0:1, eth0:2, ...)
