Two DHCP Servers

i have a network (RedHat 7.2), i use a DHCP server.
the situation is:
i want to create a sub group of this network, this group must have the ability to communicate with the rest of the network.
is there anyway to use another DHCP for this group? i don't want to use the main DHCP server.
if i created a different subnet for the group, the group will not be able to communicate with the other machines.

There isn't really a way to do it. If you were to tie the mac addresses of each machine in your network down to either server and not give other clients an ip address then it would probably work ok.

You can use the mac adresses in the dhcp.conf or you can do a subnet and use a gateway to route messages between the two subnets.
