two computers to share files

i have two computers both running redhat 9, i have two network cards, one in both. All i want to do is share fils between the two, and quite frankly i have no idea on where to start. can anyone guide me through this process, ive read a few how to's etc, but they dont seem to help me much. any help would be gratefull cheers

Also, you have to make sure NFS is running, do this by issuing the command:
$ rpcinfo -p
you should see in the output something about nfs, if so you are good to go, if not you need to start NFS.
/etc/init.d/nfs start

To have NFS start at each boo use the command
$ /sbin/chkconfig nfs on
