tunneling pptp? ipsec? cipe?
 

ok well i dont have a static ip and today at a lug this guy told me he can provide me with a public ip using a tunnel he told me i can pic between the 3 types i would like to know how to use ipsec to do it but knowing a bit about the others too would not hurt

so what my question is how do i set up a tunnel between him and me and get my ipadress?


i would like to run some servers,dont know what yet either dns or http or something like that but i need to get a static ip and this way i can ...

so how do i use each of these to set up a tunnel to get ip?

is there a guide or something?
