Tunneling

Hello, I am just getting into the whole concept of tunneling. Currently I am using FINDNOT's and HTTP-TUNNEL's services, but I find their servers are slow and often very crowded!

I have decided to setup my own server with the following:

VPN
HTTP-TUNNEL
SSH-TUNNEL

I have spent a few weeks trying to find pages with HOWTO's to set it up yet I cannot find any that are easy to follow. Does anyone have an idea on how to set these up? If so, help is much appreciated!

Thanks.

I have done a VPN with PPTP using www.Poptop.org. Pretty easy to setup on the server.

I have never done http or ssh tunneling. I use pptp so that I can use samba on my remote server and share files without having that service exposed to the internet.
