the current mac im trying to configure is an iMac with (mac osx version 10.3)
ps,,, i will actually be trying to get six macs to save and store files on the linux pc... not sure if that changes anything or not?
they are all connected between two routers and then connected to 1 dsl modem... we dont care if the linux can get internet, (which it prob will once its plugeed in to that system, but mainly that the macs can use the linux as a central place to store files read/write etc... then we will backup the linux box periodically through (dvd burn, tape etc...)
