Trying to install 2.6 kernel with the dreaded Linksys WPC11

Hi, guys! I thought it might be fun to try out the 2.6.0-test8 kernel on my laptop, but it's got a Linksys WPC11 v.3. I have it successfully running under 2.4.22 right now with the wlan package, but it seems like support is supposed to be built-in under the 2.6 kernel, and it's fighting me. I have the PCMCIA, PrismII chipset, and Hermes PCMCIA support statically compiled in the kernel. I get a steady light on the card, but no interface. Anybody have any luck getting a prism2 chipset working under 2.6? Thanks!
