Do you have samba running on the Linux box?

smbd and
nmbd running?
Do you have a share specified on the Linux box?
Samba is configured in your
smb.conf file.
You need to have samba up and running.
Do a search on LQ for samba, smb.conf

This will get you up and running, modify as you will.
Your
smb.conf file will be at different locations depending on what flavor of Linux that you are using.
