trouble viewing webcams in kopete

when a buddy sends me thier webcam in kopete it asks me to accept it then does absolutley niothing
no box for webcams, no errors nothing!

i dont have a webcam conected but that shuldent stop it coming through...

any ideas on this?

ah solved it!

it was a NAT problem
opening port 6891 solves the problem

there is just no message telling you to do this

2 wy, firstly on you router which you do using your router's setup interface

secondly you open ity in software if your distro has a software firewall too,

on suse this is through YAST, on other distros, try your administrive tools
