Hi,

I have SuSe Linux 7.1 installed on my laptop which uses an IBM token ring card.

When I boot Linux, the initial token ring initialization seems to work okay. Besides many other messages related to token ring in the message log I can see the entry "tr0: Adapter initialized and open".

But a few lines later I have the log entry:

"kernel: tr0: adapter error: ISPR_EVEN : 04

ifconfig actually shows my adapter, but e.g. ping-ing another machine in the network just brings "Network is unreachable".
