Tow different network ips class on the same switch (intelligent hub)


h dears.......
............… my problem is that I have a two different network class (192.168.0.1-254 and 192.168.1.254 ) due to some problem I m using a different no. of static ips (from different classes) on the same NIC (windows and Linux systems) and I dnot have a router can I run this system on the same switch (intelligent hub) ….it has any bad impact on my network speed/perfomance or any thing else…..plz guid me practically and throatily …

for my suggest use different NIC for both class and use your switch as brige function to divide switch ports on network

you can run on the same switch with no problems other than high network load, but if ou want the 192.168.0.1-254 to talk to 192.168.1.254 change the subnet mask from 255.255.255.0 to 255.255.0.0 on all machines.
of course is better if you have a router.
