Thin client with embedded Windows CE to a Linux server. Possible?
 

I have a Windows CE .NET embedded thin client that was given to me. Then the brain had an "ah ha!" moment.
What if I could use the thin client connected to a Samba server? Hand all the processing power, files and file sharing to the server and use the thin client as the interface (well that's what it's meant to do after all).

Has anyone had any experience with this scenario?

The thin client runs Win CE 4.21 and can connect to the server using IP (obviously).
