The best command that shows to which server the IP is routed?

Hello,

what is the good Linux command that shows an IP address of the server to which an IP or IP subnet is assigned?

I know the assigned IP, but not the IP or subnet of the server to which this IP is routed/assigned. Which command will show that to me please?

I would like to detect the moment when an IP is re-assigned to different server.

when an IP is reassigned it remains in the same subnet, routing will also be the same from the client side.
Actually I don't think you can detect it, but there can be cases...
Can you please give us more details!

thx, lets say we have a person who rented server with ip 5.5.5.5 and he bought a ip subnet 5.5.8.192/29 and the provider assigned / routed this subnet to his server.

He setup a virtual server on his dedicated 5.5.5.5 and assign this VPS one of the IPs he got (5.5.8.194). YOU know only this IP, not his dedicated server IP and you want to discover his dedicated server IP.

Which Linux command to run to discover that IP and how to discover it if he remove the IP from the VPS and it is just routed by the datacenter to the server, but the server does not use it anyhow?

PS: my aim is to monitor and detect using Linux command the moment when an IP/subnet is re-assigned from my dedicated server to different dedicated server.

Thank You
