Telnet Access Restriction
 
hi everyone
On my REDHAT 7.1 box i want users to be able telnet ...but they should not be able to change into unwanted directories...they should be chrooted to their home directories....with ftp this possible...by chrooting them in the /etc/ftpaccess file....but how is this possible with telnet....
someone please help

restrict
 
If security is set up correctly then there is no need to restrict chdir. You could use a virtual shell that restricts chdirs. Check http://www.freshmeat.net
