Telnet
There is a hardware device that can be configured and monitored through Telnet. Telnet is possible to device from window machine only but when try to do telnet from fedora 2.X release through it connect to device and return user name and password prompts but after entering values it gives error invalid user name and password.
Checked and analysed using ethereal running on window and Linux machine there is extra character is sent. How to disable sending these characters. Regards SKS |
mr. sharma i think you should change you keyboard :)..

Is this from the same machine as a dual boot? What are the telnet options that you use to start the telnet session on both OS? You should do a 'man telnet' to understand. |
The extra character is probably the carriage return (I think 0x0a). Configure your telnet to send it or not (no linux at hand to check).
