Question

I just set up Linux Mandrake on and old computer and I can't telnet into it. When I try to telnet into the machine from my WinME box nothing happens, I don't even get a login prompt the curser just blinks and then I get an error message that says "Connection to host lost.". I know the network works because I can ping the linux box, and I have searched these forums and have tried everything. Telnet is enabled and my hosts.allow is set to ALL:ALL. What's wrong?

What is your hosts.deny set to??

OK, I decided to use SSH instead. I got it installed and everything works great !!!
