tell me the process router to router, hub to hub and switch to switch communication.
 
Hey can any one tell me the process of router to router, hub to hub and switch to switch communication. by first giving technical process which involves setting up these devices and then give me general example for each so i can understand the process.

Lots of info on the net about those topics.. I rather like the animated explanation they have about the differences between a switch and a hub on the windows networking site..

Thanks for sending me these links, i read whole article of router, but i understood basic function of routers, now some questions are popping up in my mind so i would like to ask you few,

1) user view website, the router has two ip addresses one of its local area network and one of its ISP, so router uses its LAN ip addresses to communicate to its node(computer) to take the data packets "up to here i understood" when router forward data packets to WAN (Internet) it uses ISP Ip address but this ISP Ip address has same network number as the web-server of the website which user want to view or not?

2) does router communicate with the computer as same as it communicate to another router or not?

please help me with these quesion, if you can and also send me some links ok thanks.
