tcpreplay help:

There isn't much documentation on the net for this , want to know if anyone has used flowreplay with any sucess. What I am looking to do capture a group of transactions using tcpdump and then use flowreplay to recreate them running from the cron. tcpreplay is mostly used for testing firewalls so I throw this out and ask if anyone has had any luck using flowreplay to test applications. If you did get it to work what did you use for?

-tcdump parms to capture the initial capture file. (did you use port mirroring or a monitor session)?

-flowreplay parms to get a successfull replay of the cap file

Thanks,
raynet11
