tcpdump, dhcpcd and recieving many listings of addresses and the correct gateway and

no address assigned,

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Still recieving no dhcpoffers, however arp sends requests to thousands of addresses on the dhcp server.

There has been no information offered other than the idea that the cable may be cross over, but this turned out to be false.

This doesn't make any sense because all is configured perfectly.

Has anyone encountered this before?
