TCP Window Scaling

I am a complete newbie.

I would like to know the basics of TCP Window scaling.
If my scaling factor is more, then the window sizes are reduced. Is this a beneficial factor?

And also what determines my Window size, when the TCP Window scaling factor is enabled?

Then you probably should go to Google and look it up:
