TACACS+, Cisco router/switch authentication

Hi all,

I've been looking for a means to set up a TACACS+ server on our LAN to handle AAA services for our Cisco routers and switches. Hopefully I am on the right course.
What I have found are a couple of packages that will run on a Linux server, XTACACSD and TACPPD (Tacacs ++ daemon).
Can anyone tell me of the experiences they have had using these, how they would rate them, or provide information on setup and configuration? I would appreciate any input.
Thanks,

ftp://ftpeng.cisco.com/pub/tacacs/

The above URL is for tac_plus, Cisco's tacacs server for unix. I use it myself and it works very well.

If you are familiar with tacacs then you should have no problem using this software.
