SYN flood with Game
 

OK i am really frustrated and linksys is really not helping me at all. i have broadband internet called Road Runner, cable internet that is. I am playing an online game called Asheron's Call, a game that was created in 1996, and was bought out by turbine about 1/2-1 yeah ago. Linksys is saying either port forward, port trigger, or use DMZ host, but only one at a time. I have done all of those, disables all firewalls that i know of, and it still doesnt work. But, i look under the event tab under firewall while inside the router settings, and it says SYN flood, LAN-side SYN flood, or once i said IP fragmented something or other. And i know that it is my game that is causing this, but this internet goes at 300 k/b's per second, and i use to have DSL, which was only 20 k/b's per second and i never had a problem. How can i get it to where i let the SYN flood either go through or eliminate it? plz help

o and the the linksys is model BEFCMUH4 and has wireless capabilities but i am not on wireless
